What a great start to Advent we had today! Both morning worship services were a blessing to all who were present. The music in both services reminded me of just how blessed we are to worship God with talented and dedicated people. Our orchestra, led by Brandon Woods, is always a special addition to worship. Thanks to all those who participated in our music program today.
This evening our first “Jingle Jam” was simply spectacular. I wish more of you had been here to see the joy in the faces of our children. They were so excited to learn about the gift of giving through an interactive program. Cookie Greer and Helen Kern did a spectacular job preparing for a splendid time of kid-friendly time of worship.
This coming Sunday we will worship again through music. I hope you will invite a friend to join us when we celebrate the gift of our Lord. Also, put December 17 on your calendar for our annual Service of Remembrance at 4 PM in the Sanctuary and our first Living Nativity from 6-8 PM on Church Circle. It should be a great day!
Don’t forget that parents of children and any other interested folks are welcome to join our Children’s Minister Search Committee on Sunday at 10 AM in the Mountain View Room. It should be a great time!
I look forward to seeing you throughout Advent,
