Thank you for your positive response to “What’s Right with Our Church?” I want you to see some of the numbers I put forth to discuss some of the things we are doing as a church. Remember this is just a part of what FBC does right:
More than 3200 young people have participated in Upward sports.
More than 900 patients are on the active patient roll at Providence Medical Clinic.
More than a dozen students from Sevier Middle School are receiving tutoring in math each week.
In thirty years FBC has built 23 Habitat for Humanity houses in our city.
Again this year, members of our church will travel to Belize to do work with the Vo-Tech school there and provide dental work to young people.
Celebrate Recovery is growing again due to a dedicated lay leadership team that is focusing on personal contact with people in need of the help only our Lord can provide.
That is just a small part of what you are doing. It’s good to know that you are a part of changing lives every day due to your love for God and your love for people. I am honored to get to be a small part of what God is doing in our midst.
I’ll see you Sunday when we hear many of our gifted young people share in both services,
