This Sunday is Mother’s Day. It is another of those days that I cannot remember not being in church in my life. So this Sunday will be different, but we will still worship God together online. I hope you can join us again this week. Do us all a favor and hit “share” on your Facebook page when the service comes up. You will help us get the saving truth of Jesus to countless people.
This week you will receive some very important communication from our Re-Opening Committee. I hope you will take it very seriously and respond prayerfully. Our Committee has studied more information that one can imagine. Our immediate plan is that we will not have activities on the church campus in May with the following exceptions:
1) Celebrate Recovery small groups will make plans to meet. There will be a maximum of 10 people in each group, following the government guidelines.
2) Committees that will have less than 10 people in a room may meet if need be.
I continue to be thankful for every member of our Re-Opening Committee and ask your prayers for the team. Your input will be important to the work of the committee as we move through these uncertain moments of our church’s and our nation’s history. I look forward to seeing you as soon as it is wise. In the meantime, stay safe and be the best “ambassadors for Christ” we can be!
